We don't do car keys. Ironclad Locksmith is a home and business locksmith. For vehicle lockouts or key programming you'll want an auto locksmith.
FAQ
Questions people ask us
How fast can a locksmith get to me in Thornbury?+
For a lockout we aim to be with you within 20 to 40 minutes anywhere in Thornbury. You'll get an honest arrival time on the phone and the engineer rings when he's close.
Are your locks insurance approved?+
Yes. We fit BS3621 mortice locks and TS007 anti-snap cylinders, which is what most home insurers ask for, and give you a dated receipt showing the grade.
Do you do car keys?+
No. We're a home and business locksmith and don't cut or programme vehicle keys. For a car lockout you'll want an auto locksmith.
Do you charge a call-out fee in Thornbury?+
No. You pay for the work, not for us turning up. The engineer confirms a fixed price on the phone before he sets off, and that's the price you pay.
Are your engineers local to Thornbury?+
Yes. Our engineers are based in and around Thornbury, which is how we get to you quickly. They're DBS-checked, fully insured and carry ID.
